What defines a Team Horizon Member, and how can I become one?

Hundreds of times a year, we are approached and asked "How can I become a Team Horizon Member?"  The simple answer is: Fly or race because you love the sport, live your life with integrity on and off the field and do these without expecting anything in return.

Meet Our Air Show Teams - Radio Active Airshows

Radio Active Airshows is one of the AMA's sanctioned show teams and is part of a network of teams coast to coast. Our mission is two fold. First we work to introduce the world of model aviation to the general public with a big focus on working with kids. We do this by flying and static displaying at full scale airshows all over the Mid-Atlantic region. While working these shows we fly a 30 minute airshow segment as part of the full scale show.

Meet Our Air Show Teams - Godspeed Flight Demonstration Team, Inc.

The year was 1903; Wilbur and Orville Wright made the final repairs and adjustments to their aircraft.  The next morning, the wind conditions were perfect and the aircraft was ready, however there would be no flight that day. It was Sunday — the Lord’s day — and neither Wilbur nor Orville worked on the Lord’s Day.

2-pole motors.

It is very important to follow the instructions mentioned on page 14 in the

F-16 instructions. "Be sure to set the speed control to the correct timing for this type of motor. The timing should be set for 2-pole motors."

The 2008-2009 Northeast Grand Slam kicked off in style with the 6th Annual Halloween Classic.  Over 200 entries made their way to The Gate in Cleveland, OH; some for the first time, but many had returned for what they knew was one of the most entertaining races of the season.  Several racers traveled great distances to get in on the action, and they weren’t disappointed.

Team Horizon Member Raises $25,000 for Local Charity! (EI)

One of our very own Team Horizon Members, Robert Vess, along with his fellow club members (Raleigh Durham Radio Control: RDRC), pulled off an incredible feat this past weekend.  For year's now this club has hosted the Fly-For-Tot's Children's Charity Fun-Fly where all the proceeds go to charity.  This year they raised over $25,000 for the Victory Junction Gang Camp.  Wow!
