Dual R922's sharing batteries.

If I want to run 2 R922 RX's in my plane and only use two batteries can I use a "y" harness to connect the same battery to both RX's? I used to do this with the spektrum AR9000's without any problems but I'm not sure if the power safe RX's will be ok doing this? Basically I will end up with both RX's running off both batteries through two y-harness.
Thanks.

Hi There,
I think you would be OK but best would be to call Tech Support on this issue! I am not confident on my answer. However, I would like to suggest against doing two receivers! Keep it simple! I never made a connection to people using two receivers but that's just the way I feel and experience I have had with pros such as Quique! Why two receivers?
Please check with tech support on the battery issue!
Good luck,
Reza
If one fails I still have
If one fails I still have half the plane on the other RX. Just this past weekend a buddy of mine lost a R922 on final and luckily because he was already setup on final the plane landed itself. It rolled straight down the runway and off the end into the grass but luckily no damage. Just re-enforces the fact that even new stuff can fail so I like the idea of having a *chance* to save the plane should one RX fail. When you figure what the cost of a giant scale plane is a second RX is some cheap insurance, it may not pay off, but then again it may. To each his own of course, I don't understand why people run power boxes.
I used to run dual 955 rx's
I used to run dual 955 rx's on my 40% Extra, but now run a single rx. I currently run a single R9000 Rx when I switched to 2.4. I use two switch harnesses, two batteries with separate regulators, going into one Rx. I do have a satellite rx, but just one main rx that is used as a bus to all servos.
