My interest in model aviation comes from my Father, a lifelong modeler who flew control line as a kid, and after a brief hiatus for college, returned to the hobby flying radio control.  I started flying hand launch gliders shortly after I learned to walk and learned RC from my Father at the age of 7.

I have competed in a total of 20 National Championships; my first being in 1985 when I earned top Junior.

When not working or flying, I spend time outdoors, hiking, downhill skiing, soccer, pool, poker.
